BILLY STRINGS

Michigan-born and now Nashville-based, Billy Strings is a Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and musician who arrived on the scene as “one of string music’s most dynamic young stars” (Rolling Stone), and has since solidified himself as one of the most influential artists in modern roots music.
Strings first earned the Grammy Award for Best Bluegrass Album at the 63rd Grammy Awards for Home, and most recently took home the same honor again for Highway Prayers, further cementing his place at the forefront of contemporary bluegrass. He has also been awarded Artist of the Year at the Americana Music Honors & Awards, Entertainer of the Year and Song of the Year at the International Bluegrass Music Association Awards, Best New Headliner (all genre) at the Pollstar Awards, and Breakthrough Artist of the Pandemic (all genre) by Pollstar. Additionally, he has been named Entertainer of the Year and Guitar Player of the Year by the IBMA, highlighting both his broad appeal and elite musicianship.
Known for his electric live performances and genre-defying sound, Strings has headlined sold-out tours across the globe and top-tier festivals including Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, and New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. His live shows, often stretching into improvisational, cross-genre explorations, have earned a devoted fanbase and critical acclaim as some of the most compelling performances in modern music.
Released in September, Highway Prayers marks his latest full-length project and a continued evolution of his sound, blending bluegrass tradition with rock, psychedelia, and expansive storytelling. A respected figure across genres, Strings has collaborated with a wide range of artists, further pushing the boundaries of what bluegrass can be.
